Review summary

Average at best....for $4000 I would expect more. Carnival is just okay. I will definitely use a different cruise line next time. Our daughter (9) got food poisoning from shrimp in the dining room....her and my husband had to miss the second port...highly disappointing. Overall staff is good. Bartenders in main lounge were very rude! (ignoring me for over 15 minutes and serving others that arrived after me). I wish we would have spent our money elsewhere

Sorry your daughter got sick. But didn't you leave out of Miami? I know that's where that ship docks because I sailed on her. Hope your daughter is better

Cruising during the holidays is overpriced and overcrowded. It’s best to go while schools are in session for a much better experience.

Oh I'm so sorry that your daughter got sick. Did she eat anything else besides the shrimp and got food poisoning from that. That is very scary and I am so sorry that this happened to her. We have taken Carnival Sunshine once and we had a good time and this wasn't 2018. Would we take Carnival again I don't know the cruise director really made it wonderful but also we have to make the vacation for ourselves as well. We've taken Norwegian, princess, Holland America, Royal Caribbean and Carnival.
