The food was excellent in MDR and around the ship. The issue is the lines. It’s crazy in 2023 to have lines that long for the buffet, not sure why they did not correct this during the major refit in 2019. You don’t experience this on other cruise lines, it was really disappointing. Water dispensers were also constantly broken etc. I understand you get what you pay for but this was just straight up bad.

Fun vibe. DJ only caters to one type of music and doesn’t vary it at all which was really disappointing.
Service and Staff

The dining room staff made no attempt to get to know us or talk to us at all in 5 days. Simply came took out order and left. Royal Caribbean and other Carnival ships are way better. We did meet a really nice bartender in the Atrium who was amazing.
Ship Quality

It’s a ship from 1999! We expected it to not be perfect but the refit in 2019 helped to make the ship feel much more modern. With that being said the ship is still choppy and not the best to get places. The bathrooms were many times very dirty in public areas.
Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the updated cabins, very nice. The shower pressure was weak however and hated that they use a curtain instead of a door like other ships.
