Review summary

Love the Carnival Sunrise. Lots of great venues, Guy's Burger, Lucky Bowl, Alchemy Bar, Aft Pool, Sea Food Shack, Bonsai Sushi, etc. Good Comedy Club layout with good sight lines throughout. Friendly staff, great Cruise Director (Rico). Very pretty ship.

Dinner in MDR is not as flavorful as in the past. Steakhouse is still fantastic.

This is a full entertainment venue. Great bar, shuffleboard, dance floor and stage. The ship's band played here almost every night and it was always rockin'. Lots of trivia played here during the day. Really enjoyed this venue.

Typical inside cabin. Small but comfortable. No sofa or chair.

Ship tip

Book and oceanview or interior cabin aft on Deck 5 behind the Alchemy Bar and aft set of elevators. This is a great location and provides easy access to lots of venues and the aft elevators to take you to the aft pool or the lido and buffet areas.

Loved the Jamaican Bobsled experience. The chair lift to the top is a great ride all by itself!

Went to 7 mile beach, the public beach area. Very nice, good shower and restroom facilities, food trucks, etc. 2 chaise lounges and an umbrella cost $20. Taxi is $6 each way per person.
