Enjoyed the cruise and would go back again except next time I would go to different ports.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Had an early reservation for embarkation and it worked out well. The process was smooth.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was good at all the restaurants, buffets, etc. The only issue I had was the food portions in the main dining room were quite small. For example, an appetizer order of mozzarella sticks came with only 1 stick. Made no sense as you could get all you wanted in the buffet.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The pool, spa, gym and cruise staff were great. There is no rock wall or go cart style stuff on this cruise ship.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We watched a couple of the comedy shows and one of the shows in the main theater. All of them were good.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff all over the vessel were all nice and accommodating.
I like Grand Cayman but did not get much time to see the town itself as we took an excursion to see the stingrays on the Allura catamaran. That took up most of our time in Cayman.
Very disorganized as people just left when they wanted. The ships crew kept saying this grooup or that group coould leave, but it wasn't enforced as my wife and i got tired of seeing everyone leaving so we just got in line and left.
I was on the same cruise and also had a great time. The ship was well maintained and very clean. My room steward Nia was wonderful. Always greeted us by name and asked about our day. Dining room staff was also good. Preferred dinner crew. Food overral was good. No complaints. The servings in the MDR are small, so I did order multiple appetizers. We also ate at the steakhouse Fahrenheit and absolutely amazing.
Embarkation was not the best.
Thanks for your review. We actually enjoy the small servings because we can order a variety of meals and not see food go to waste. Next time remember to order 3 or 4 appetizers, entres and desserts. Yummy!
