Review summary

This was my second cruise. Both have been with Carnival and I have had good experiences both times. The Sunrise was a good size ship for me with plenty to do. Every staff member I came in contact with made me feel welcome. If I were to sail again in the near future I would try to book on this ship. I did notice a couple of times a foul oder while outside. But it wasn't enough to ruin my vacation. Besides the wind whipped it away.

Everything went smooth in terminal. Check in was a breeze. I walked up to get in line and was helped instantly.

Food was always hot when it came out. I tried different things and they said if I didn't like it I could get something else. My last night they sang Happy birthday to me and brought out a cake for me. Roby was our head waiter and was very nice. Team server was I Bua yayAnd Kartika they made sure we had everything we needed.

I was never bored. There was plenty to do. From shows, casino, bars, pools, eating or just relaxing. I don't gamble, rarely had a drink, never got in the pool, but hot tub was awesome on Serenity deck.

After getting used to the layout I didn't have any issues. I do wish the food buffet was more in the middle of the ship though. Staff was ALWAYS cleaning. Very clean ship.
