Embarkation

Smooth, easy, abs quick. Very efficient, even with the extra protocols and documents needed.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was to die for. My favorite was Guy Fieri’s Burger Joint on the Lido Deck (deck 9). Although we tried other things like Blue Iguana Cantina and it was always delicious, in addition to the pizza at Pizzeria Del Capitano. Pretty much all the food at the buffet was really good, but the food at the main dinning room restaurant was even better. For breakfast to dinner, the food was consistently served and mouth watering. We also got the chance to eat at Bonsai Sushi (which is extra cost, although they have really low prices) and that was great as well.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We tried almost everything onboard. The slides (Aqua Tunnel and Twister) at Carnival Waterworks were so much fun. The park is great for all ages, super young or super old. The Sports Square which has the Sky Course (ropes course), Sky Court (basketball court which also has soccer nets to play soccer), jogging track, and games like shuffle board, foosball, and pool (the game, not the pool) is lots of fun. Speaking of pools, there are plenty of them onboard onboard. There is one midship and one aft, however there are quite a few hot tubs all around the ship (6 total).

Entertainment

5 out of 5
From the shows we watched, they were good. The comedy shows were great, and funny. I highly suggest going to the shows. Also, the main shows in the theatre were good. It was impressive choreography, although I don’t find that all that interesting. It was impressive, just not my cup of tea (no, I’m not British). We also went to the magic show which was mind blowing and funny.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I cannot rave enough about the service. They took everything to the next level. Many crew took the time to memorize your name and what you like. The crew also took the extra step to make your vacation the best it could possible be. I would like to shout out Roderick, Jimmy, Eric, Chisianto, abs so many more crew members.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very easy to navigate the ship and there were always crew cleaning the ship. There wasn’t a spot on the ship that wasn’t clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We got a regular balcony, and the room was large, clean, and a great central hub for our family. I would recommend getting a balcony. Also, the beds felt like you were sleeping on a cloud.

Ports of call

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

We did Dunn River Falls in addition to a zip line. I was worried about the falls and it being a tourist trap, and it kind of was, however it was a lot more fun then I thought it would have been. It was a great, fun, memorable experience that I would love to do again. Also, the climb up the falls was easy for people who are fit, but people who are on the heavier side can still do the climb with little to no problem. As for the zip line, it was fun but we enjoyed the falls a lot better.

Disembarkation

Surprisingly quick and easy. Very convenient to catch a flight right after.
