Review summary

The sensation is definitely starting to show her age. The entire ship, including the exterior, is rusty. The lido deck wood is in poor shape. It really needs to be dry docked and overhauled or just put out to pasture. The crew was a mix of very good and pretty bad. Our room steward, though nice, did the bare minimum of work that was required of him. The receptionist in the fantasy dining room couldn’t ever sit us with the same wait team despite being asked every night. The chose director was fantastic.

I was on it 12 days ago, it’s rusty, the rubber strips are coming out of the lido deck flooring, and the staff was meh. Sorry my recent experience doesn’t match yours.

I was on that ship in September 2018 and it was fine. I had no problems with the Sensation at all. Every staff and crew member was excellent.

I was on this ship back in 2009 and I thought it was bad then. It definitely needs an overhaul.

I just came off that same cruise & the sensation definitely needs to be referbished ASAP. I would HV never picked that ship if I knew how old it was. Our room smelled like sewer & I heard other ppl complaining of the same thing. But overall the cruise was good. Our room steward was on it and kept our room clean.
