HORRIBLE!

I have been on several cruises and carnival sensation by far had the worst food. The dining room wasnt as fancy as the others ive expierenced. The waitress i had took forever to check on us. We asked for another refill on drinks, well after 25 min my husband had to get up and find our waitress to remind her. Our food got cold and we all lost our appetites.

I have never been on such a boring ship! Iam not one who usally gives reviews but i just have too. Save your money and visit another ship! Carnival sensation was absolutely boring! Every person we came across we asked how much fun they were having and they all looked miserable and said they werent! There was nothing to do! Ive never seen such a dead deck! Noone was dancing and that was probably because dj fiji continued to play the same songs from the 50s! He did throw on the “happy” song but noone was “happy ! Iam used to going on the deck at 2am and seeing everyone drinking and dancing but not on this cruise. I was very disappointed. Went to guest services and asked where the fun was on the ship and was told we had to create our own fun. I guess we had to jam out to our own music in our head too. Not too mention the ignorance i expierenced on the ship! We went to dominican republic and getting off the ship we took pictures w a woman who was dressed as a taino indian. Later that evening we went to pick up our photos in photography and noticed the photo that had a boarder that said “taino indidians” i went up to alekxandra and pointed out the mistake she then told me “noone noticed or has yet to complain because well lets be honest who reads these days” i simply told her many people as well as myself who clearly noticed the mistake. She told me to come back by 10pm that she would fix the mispelling. Went back at 10 and recieved the same picture with the same mispelling! Went back to alekxandra who then went to her manager stephan to find out why it wasnt fixed and was told” thats just how it is on the site.” Alekxandra then proceeded to tell me that her coworker stephan said “ what are indians doing in dominican republic anyway!?” As she laughed! I have never been so insulted in my entire life!! As stephan was on the phone i waved my hands in the air to get his attention to tell him off and he then said “instead of accusing me of saying that you should ask me!” Which at that point alekxandra admits she was in fact the one who said it! I had looked over at my niece who couldnt believe the nerve of this woman! As i stormed off to go to guest services to file a complaint of what was told to me the woman at guest services apologized and called someone to come down and “fix” the issue. After waiting 15 min to speak w someone about the disrespect and insults i recieved about where i come from , my history, my people ,who other to approach me but STEPHEN! the same man who stood there w a smirk on his face who clearly found this amusing! I dont understand why he was called down because never in my life do you bring down a person to “solve” an issue w one of the people involved! I had never met such unprofessional and disrespectful people in my life! Although this wasnt my first cruise it was my husbands and childrens and we were there to celebrate my nieces sweet 16 and it was ruined by such ignorance! Never will i cruise with carnival again if these are the people they hire!

Dancers and performers were great! Dj could have been better with playing music to suit everyones taste. Noone danced! And that should be a huge sign!

My kids had an amazing time. I really loved the women who took care o them and for having them be part of the christmas concert! My family and i almost asked if we could just stay w them all day since this seemed to be the only part of the ship that had fun and things to do!

Our room stewards were so sweet and very attentive! Loved how they remembered our names my kids deff got a kick out of it!

Yes it was clean but wasnt as fancy as some others ive been on. Not sure if this is one of the older ships but ive deff been on better. Was hoping to wow my husband and didnt get that impression.

Our bathroom in the cabin reaked of urine. We kept our sandals on in the bathroom because we were afraid of what was left behind on the floor. And our sink seemed to be broken because whenever we turned it on the water came shooting out to the left so we would have to keep on low pressure as possible so we wouldt have water all over the place.
