Review summary

Overall being with a large group made the trip better but this ship sucks! The foid and activities were catered to very young or very old. No healthy foids like smoothies or really healy salads (not that mess served in Lido). Need healthier food choices. Oh the gym and steam room were great! I truly enjoyed both but not having healthy food choices was terrible. You workout then are forced to eat unhealthy foid all the time! Ugh so disappointing. Advice, teach your staff about qualty customer service, smile and greet all guests. Provide healthier food choices and update your balconies inside and out ot better yet, retire the Sensation!!!

I agree with you we just got off the sensation and August 2017 and that ship is a dump the food is awful and her time at socks was the worst five days of any cruise I've ever been on our first ship was the dream and we absolutely fell in love with it or next ship is going to be the sunshine and we've already booked yet hopefully it's a better experience than the sensation

it's been years since I been on the Sensation. We will be taking our May cruise on the Sensation. I hope we don't have the same issue as you did.

I must go along with you I was on the sensation in 2013 it was a dump then even the crew hated it

Try royal although I must admit I find most cruisers treat a cruise like Christmas a few pounds on we can get rid of after but royal has a healthy menu in the MDR

Hmmmmm, I have always been able to find healthy food choices. I enjoy the salad bar on Lido, many choices to create a big healthy salad with oil & vinegar! The Sensation is definitely one of Carnivals oldest ships, it might be in need of a dry dock. Try a dream class or vista class ship next time!
