Review summary

Last minute cruise booked with my daughter in law to be. Had a great time.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Arrived at our assigned 10:30 slot. Boarding began half an hour after we were checked in. Port personnel very helpful and friendly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We had YTD and enjoyed the main dining room. Try the s’mores parfait the last night. Buffet choices were very limited on this ship at breakfast and lunch, but there is a Guy’s and Blue Iguana also.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Able to find a spot in the pool most of the time. Casino was very busy as many of us sailed on a casino offer. Enjoyed the comedy but wished they had shows every evening. Theater had the best seats of any ship I’ve sailed. ‘80s show was good. Piano bar was great when it was open, but limited hours.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Most of the staff were wonderful. I only gave three stars because the first time we saw our steward was day 3 (Grand Cayman day) when he complained that my cabin mate was napping during cleaning time at around 3 pm.

Cabin / Stateroom

Too warm to sleep most of the time, even with a fan. Also right under a children’s club and they did have activities until 1am a couple nights. The noise didn’t bother us, but it might some.

Ship tip

Be prepared to take pics about 1/2 hour after sail away as you go under a bridge in Tampa. It’s very cool.
