the food left much to be desired, especially the buffet which was always TERRIBLE. Imagine only eight half slices of salami and that's it. 15 half slices of turkey. then it gone. the hot chocolate machines were always not working

the staff always seemed non caring, except for my cabin attendant who I tipped very well

the ship was mostly clean, except for high traffic areas, the elevators call buttons looked diseased and were always filthy. Had to use my knuckle to call for elevator.

We were on the same cruise and I have to slightly disagree with you about the staff and cleanliness of the ship/elevators and food. We were greeted warmly by every staff member throughout the ship daily, always with a smile and quite a few taking time to stop what they were doing and chat about our cruise and give us an opportunity to learn more about them. Other than occasionally spilt water in the elevators they were clean and we always use our knuckles to touch elevator buttons, even pre-covid. I did notice only a few slices of deli meats were put out at the buffet but once those were gone, they were replenished fairly quickly. I think Carnival is trying to be more conscious of not having wasted food which is a good thing. They’re probably still trying to figure out that issue and it’s a work in progress.
