Review summary

Trip was great overall. My biggest issue was that the cruise line changed the ships direction of travel which impacted all of our excursions as we were now hitting ports on different days. If you booked your excursions through Carnival they changed them for you. I booked through American's partner so I had to go back and try to change my excursions- two of which were no longer available.

If I'd known we would be the very last group called for "express" disembarking" we definately would have just checked our bags; the process was slow; tbe announcements were difficult to hear.

Had the same cruise in late October, Carnival emailed everyone about the problem and there reason for changing the itinerary! Unfortunately we caught them tail end of Hurricane Rick, cold windy, missing rain the first two and a half days otherwise great cruise!! Good Food, Great Staff, Good Entertainment, Cruise Director Lee really made it like A Real Truly Cruise - always Around Full of Energy! Which took me back to my First Cruise on Carnival in 1983 when they had only three ships, and that Cruise Director was all over the ship!
