We really had a wonderful time and can’t wait to cruise Carnival again!
Embarkation

Super quick. We had our boarding passes in hand along with our passports, once our passports were no longer necessary we were told to put them away. Then we basically walked on board the ship with our boarding passes in hand. Never had a long line to wait in. It moved very quickly. We were able to use our CHEERS package with our boarding passes until we got our Sail & Sign cards which waiting for us outside our room.

Food and Dining

Food and drinks were really good, however, Carnival has stopped using plastic straws. If you are a person that needs a straw to drink your Frozen beverage I suggest you bring one. They had the sugar ones available at the beginning but those were hard to get by the end of the cruise. I had brought a 2 pack of silicone ones at Walgreens for 5.99 that came in handy (not in pic because this was the first drink that I needed it for). Lido deck food was good for breakfast and lunch but I preferred the dining room for dinner.
Main Dining room staff at dinner were AMAZING. We never waited too long, they were fun, friendly, and never messed up on our orders. The food was hot, and like I said cooked to perfection. Our last cruise was through RC. They put them to shame! Seriously. Carnival worked their butts off and it showed! We also went to the Steakhouse and it was incredible. And The Chef’s Table was an experience that is not to be missed!
Diamonds Steakhouse

We really enjoyed this Steakhouse! I had the stuffed mushroom appetizer and my husband had the risotto. We both had the Wagyu. Amazing. We had the Art Dessert. What a great experience!!!
Onboard Activities

We tried to walk on the track but it was track so that was disappointing. We did enjoy resting by the Serenity deck.
Entertainment

We enjoyed The Hasbro Show, America Rocks! Micheal Macy’s Comedy Show (adult-we saw him twice!). We didn’t enjoy Bob Biggerstaff’s (adult) show. We loved Lady Red she was an awesome singer and funny too!
And MARQ IS TREMENDOUS!! He is so funny! Every time he was involved in a show we were smiling!

Overall the ship was well maintained and clean. I did notice the sewage smell that others commented on but it was not constants and not on my floor. I noticed it in port and on a lower level.
I never saw trash anywhere though. It was well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

As an experienced cruiser, the size and and space in my cabin is exactly what we expected and perfect for our needs. My room was obviously not cleaned well though. We found half drunk drinks in our cabin fridge. So that was a huge turn off. I always bring lysol and wipes to wipe down and spray everything for my own peace of mind, and this just reinforced why I need to. Aside from that though, the room was perfect.
Ship tip
Bring your own silicone straws for your Frozen beverages! Don’t miss Michael Macy the comedian if he is still on board. The violin group is WONDERFUL! Get ready to have a great time :)
Nice day, when you get off the ship go to the right. It looks like you are going the wrong way. But go that way anyway. Theres food, bar service (can’t use your cheers package), restrooms, and lounge chairs, its less crowded and makes it very enjoyable. :)
