Review summary

We had a bad experienced flying from west coast to east coast to take the cruise, so having been up for 36 hours before getting on board, we were exhausted and ready for showers, food and a nap. But we were not disappointed once we arrived at the Carnival dock. The boarding procedures were rapid and efficient and we were on board and fed within an hour; our room was ready ahead of schedule, so we were able to shower and nap before the evening began, when the first dinner was excellent. The remainder of the cruise followed that pattern--efficiency and effectiveness of crew, stewards and excursions. The debarkation process was also the most efficient and effective we're seen in 5 cruises!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All of the venues we tried\, but especially our scheduled 6pm dinner\, were wonderful. Good food\, plenty of it and well prepared. Wonderful and entertaining wait staff in all areas!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All ship staffers were especially helpful\, from room stewards to dinner staff and disanbarking for excursions and reboarding staff were simply great!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was wonderful\, although aimed at a younger generation. Still an excellent ship!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Best we've ever had--also first time with a balcony which we shared with the couple we traveld with. It was extremely nice!!

Pros: The ship's crew; the food; and ship itself (our accomodations were best ever); the shore excursions.

Cons: The loudness of the music; the kind of music (aimed at the younger party set--we being in our 70s)
