Review summary
We had a bad experienced flying from west coast to east coast to take the cruise, so having been up for 36 hours before getting on board, we were exhausted and ready for showers, food and a nap. But we were not disappointed once we arrived at the Carnival dock. The boarding procedures were rapid and efficient and we were on board and fed within an hour; our room was ready ahead of schedule, so we were able to shower and nap before the evening began, when the first dinner was excellent. The remainder of the cruise followed that pattern--efficiency and effectiveness of crew, stewards and excursions. The debarkation process was also the most efficient and effective we're seen in 5 cruises!Ship experiences

Pros: The ship's crew; the food; and ship itself (our accomodations were best ever); the shore excursions.
Cons: The loudness of the music; the kind of music (aimed at the younger party set--we being in our 70s)
