Review summary

It is a beautiful ship but hard to get around. There was a dining room one floor above us and they put us in the dining area at the opposite end of the ship, it was complicated to get there by changing floors up and down to get to it.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The quality of the food was very good in the dining room. We were less impressed by the few choices in the buffet. Breakfast in the buffet was the exact same menu every morning.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
This is the area we feel we were let down. This ship did not have the activites that our other two cruises had, if fact it was not even close. The few activites they did have were always late, usually the previous activites ran late pushing everything back. When we attended a trivia session we waited for 40 minutes for some one to come, he came after several calls were made and when he did come he didn't have the correct trivia questions with him.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
We had a toddler with us who was not yet two and could not participate in Camp Carnival. They did have a play time on sea day but my Grandson was the only child there. We took advantage of the night time day care only once, the gave my daughter a phone to carry, but it was locked and they did not tell her how to use it. The time was also a little late, from 10:00pm to 3:00am it was late to have a child out, I think 8:00pm to 1:00am would have been a more resonable time.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
With the exception of a person here and there, the staff was very friendly. We had a toddler with us and they went out of their way to talk to him.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship is hard to get from the front to the back, having to change floors several times to get where you want to go. On the deck, people would put towels on chairs to save them and leave for several hours. They need at have signs stating, chairs can not be saved if you are not in the pool area. The people on the deck who want to use the chairs should have priority over people who have left the area.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our stateroom was very clean and our room stewart was excellent. The first day he came and introduced himself and told us to contact him if we needed anything.

Pros: Excellent Staff

Cons: Activites
