Review summary

We had canceled this cruise due to death in family but later rebooked. The ship provided us quiet time for recovery and rest, but also provided entertainment when we felt up for some fun. We enjoyed the Carnival dancers and the cruise director was a live wire and he drew us out of our sorrow to have fun in the lobby and up on Lido deck. We had the choice of sitting on our balcony or attending the shows and the Cruise director Brad would put such an emphasis on the action that he drew us out of our cabin.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Ackmed was our cabin steward. He was very attentive and called us by name each time we seen him. We chose evening room service but Ackmed made sure to fill our ice bucket twice a day. He asked each day if we wanted any additional room service to just call him. MARTIN our main waiter and Sampson, and Bachman took excellent care of us at supper in the Posh dining room. They were quick to offer extras of any favorite foods we liked.

Ship tip

To try different routes t ok the Podh dining room. The area outside the deck 3 entrance was small and cramped so we would arrive by different routes to not feel crowded.

Thank you my spouse had lost his mother and then his father in a span of 3 months...the cruise was a time to gather his thoughts and come to terms with the loss of both parents.
