Review summary

Diamond international is an unethical company widely promoted by Carnival. They say they have a 60 day garauntee; however, it is a lie. You can not return the moment you buy the item. They say you can return it; however do not mention only for store credit. Bad business ethics shame that they are promoted by Carnival when they say they want to protect their "carnival family". How is this protecting us?

I bought a diamond ring from DI. When I got home, I had it appraised and it appraised for TWICE as much as I paid for it!! :)

Jewelry store, yes. You'll find one in most of the popular ports where cruises stop.

Diamond International is endorsed by most cruise lines but they are all overpriced. I wouldn't buy anything there or any shops promoting tax -free. They are rarely cheaper than US stores. Lessons learned.
