Review summary

The ship itself was nice, for the most part it was clean. We had three sea days and the ships entertainment staff really doesn't do anything to liven up the pool area, even the DJ stopped playing music when people started to dance.

Food and Dining

The food was so/so, the dining room staff was not very good, not one meal at the late seating (there were 6 in our party) was served correctly, two of us would get a salad and others would get a hot starter, then they would get their salad and we would get our hot starter, if we ordered a side dish it would not come out with the entree.

Entertainment

The nightly shows were ok, they had comedy shows on board but the guests were chastised by the host if they responded to a question or comment from the comedian.

Service and Staff

Not only didn't they go abocve and beyond, many of them didn't even attepmt to serve the guests.

The stateroom stewart did a nice job, we don't spend a lot of time in the room so the room was fine.

Pros: The room stewart was good

Cons: The dining room service was terrible. Did "My time dining" the waits were almost 2 hours, switched to the late seating and not one meal was served without mistakes. The final night of the cruise my husband didn't even receive his dinner.

Recommends Carnival Freedom? No.
