relaxing cruise

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

pretty average cruise. nothing stands out too much good or bad. disappointed in the children's activities.

Pros: ports

Cons: camp carnival activities

Recommends Carnival Freedom? No.

Children's Programs
while there were a lot of activities scheduled, execution not great. some of the staff were more disciplinarians that fun camp counselors
Ship Quality
several areas were not well-used: ie: library, habana bar - empty much of the time - seems like wasted space that could have been taken advantage of with activities
Food and Dining
got boring after 3 or 4 days
Entertainment
very average
Cabin / Stateroom
definite highlight
Service and Staff
staff were very nice and helpful
