Review summary
We chose Carnival to western Mediterranean due to the amazing ports of call and weren't disappointed. We didn't think the design of the ship was very cohesive, and the "special restaurant" was not very intimate and service and food were disappointing at best. The cruise was great, entertainment amazing and the excursions were varied and quite nice. The general age group was probably 45 and up, which was nice for us being in that age category. THe days at sea were boring at best...little to do and not much in the form of real entertainment. Cabins, so-so...service though was superb!Pros: ports of call
