Review summary
We had a great time on the cruise but alot of things where not explained when it cam e to the gratuity on the ship. When we first entered to board the ship they signed us up for a sails card and i put 300.00 dollars cash on the card and it was not explained to us about the automatic payment of the gratuity. We where over our limit by the third day, so you can only imagine the frustation when i went to the service desk and they explained it to me. There was nothing i could do at that time. The ship had already left the dock and I and my husband where very upset because the gentleman at the service desk shurd his shoulder and acted as he did not care if it was not explained to us at the time of when we booked the cruise. When i signed up for the cruise they also explained to me that my husband and I had automatically would recieve 50.00 each on our sails card and we could spent that on anything. We never recieved that either. Although the employees where awesome and the food was spectacular we have decided that we have had better vacations at lesser cost and feel there is a huge communication break down and we will not be returning to Carnival.
