Review summary

NOTE: Our Port of Call was Nassau, however it is not giving me that option at this time, it was not the Caribbean. Overall we had a fun time. It was our first cruise, so we had no previous expectations. The food was excellent sometimes, while others it missed the mark. Dessert overall was pretty bad. I actually liked it better than the room we got at Royal Caribbean for our second cruise. It somehow felt more spacious. Nassau was our Port of Call. I also wrote a review of it on my blog. Suffice it to say that it was just blah. No crazy adventures, nothing extraordinary. Just a fun party/beach scene. Take it for what it is, a place to have a few drinks and enjoy the beach. The shopping at local stores is VERY stressful. If you enjoy haggling and having stuff pushed at you, this is for you! (I know some people have a gift for this) if you don't, then forget it, you have to haggle for everything, since original pricing is always ridiculous. We rented a scooter and drove around the island, even in some of the more questionable areas. We felt a little concerned at times but did not have any issues. My favorite thing to do on this cruise was wake up before the sunrise and just sit outside with a cup of coffee as I took pictures of the sun rising. Or just sitting in a swimsuit by the tiny pool or the veranda and enjoying the sea air and the sun while I sipped a cocktail. Overall a very relaxing experience.
