Review summary
I enjoyed my second cruise. My first cruise was to the Bahamas on the Ecstasy in October and I never received a chance to review it. I had similar rough seas but since I am a nurse and came prepared I was fine with my scopa patches and medications. I would definitely say that my server staff at dinner was A++. Darwin (team lead) did such a great job in entertaining us as well as making sure we had everything we needed. He also added plenty of comic relief. His team did the same and please forgive me for not remembering all of there names. One thing that I did not enjoy was being pushed in the corner by ourselves though. We had late dining originally and then because of a mishap we got bump off. Within moments we called and tried to get put back on and were told we had already been replaced. It was the middle of the night... how did that happen??? So the whole week we sat in the corner by ourselves and didn't get to meet any new people. That was very disappointing. I noticed that the food was not as impressive as it was on my first cruise. And there was no lobster night? I also noticed that the Groove for St. Jude lacked "Groove". On my first cruise there was dancing and then we donated for tshirts and bears. This time they just asked for $$ for shirts pretty much. No groovin' .... no bears. I was more than happy to donate for the cause but I thought that it was fun last time and it was just missing this time.
Patrick, the gentleman that took care of our room during the week did a good job and I enjoyed the towel animals that he left us. I appreciated his care very much.
