Review summary

We had a great time even with all the mechanical problems.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Embarkation when not very smooth. They had a drug dog checking everyone's carry on luggage. Which is normal. Process got really slow when I guess they waited for all the guests in scooters and wheel chairs to gather. We waited in line for over an hour to get on the ramp for the ship. Don't know why they weren't letting all of us with scooters just get on like other ports do. No one was giving anyone any info. We were just all standing there. Or sitting in scooters.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was very good in the dinning room and the deli. Never ate at the buffet. Nothing looked appetizing.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Didn't do any activities on this cruise.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Waiters in main dining room were great except for one night when we had different servers. He got our orders wrong. Brought my husband's entree out 15 min before mine and we ordered the same thing. Never got dessert. Table of 6 next to us never got theirs either and they just left. Waiter came over with his tablet to take our order forgetting that he already served us but forgot our dessert. We said waiting on dessert. He never came back after 30 more mins so we left.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was kept very clean. We took a behind the fun tour and the galley was spotless.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Ocean view cabin was very nice and kept clean by our room steward.

Ports of call

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

2 out of 5
Stayed on the ship. Have been there before and not much to do except the beach. We are too old for that.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
We arrived 2 hours late because of propulsion problems which was fine but there were no announcements. People were getting upset because no one knew when they could get off. There weren't deck numbers called or luggage tag numbers called. At 11:30 I said let's just get on the elevators and try to get off. We had a long drive home and I had to work the next morning.

The only time you will “wait” to board ( whether you have a scooter or not ) is before initial boarding. Initial Boarding in Jax is normally at 10:45am. All wheelchair and scooter guests are lined up and actually board “first” about 5-10 minutes before everyone else!!
