A good cruise but it went by really quick in my opinion.

Review summary

Was a good cruise but it was booked to the max for spring break but I'm not complaining the Ship is well kept up out of drydock refurbished and I love the Carnival Elation

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Jacksonville Embarkation is always a mess but on this particular day there was a coast guard inspection so I was supposed to be on by 11:30 Am and did not board till close to 2:00pm

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was decent but I'm not gonna lie it could have been better compared to past cruises the food on this one was not bad but it was not the greatest either.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
For the Elation being a small ship I would say the onboard activity and variety was pretty good.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Never got a Dj on the top deck except for Jacksonville Sailaway besides that entertainment was good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was as freindly as ever in fact there was a few crew members who remember me from my December sailing on Elation.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was just out of drydock with her new blue livery and was extremely beautiful clean and well upkept.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin it's self was just slightly bigger than your average balcony stateroom but was spacious and our Stateroom Stewart was great the balcony compared to my extended balcony room from December was extremely small and not private but I'm not complaining as it's a smaller ship (which I love)

Ports of call

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

4 out of 5
I love all the private islands but this port is very rocky so you have to be off early to find a good beach spot.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Was extremely smooth I was staying in a suite so I had priority disembarkation.

The Coast Guard inspection only delayed boarding by 1 hr. Normal boarding is 10:45am and on 4/3 embarkation was at 11:45am. All priority guests ( if you are checked in ) board first during initial boarding.
