Nice little ship but the ships satellite was our 90% of the time so we did not have any tv programs in our room other than what Carnival pipe in your room. I missed Monday nite football and the World Series because the bats couldn’t get satellite signal. I would suggest buying the value WiFi package if you want to communicate with the world and be able to call via WiFi.

Practically walked on board after presenting identification and vaccination records
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Food was hit or miss in dinning room and lido deck buffet. Some food was very good while it often was disappointing especially at breakfast. The scramble eggs were like hotel eggs and the meat was always mystery meat from hot dogs to surprise sausage.
Thank goodness for the omelette guy.
Salad bar was always very good and was the go to for lunch and dinner along with great sandwiches, burgers, tacos and pizza.
Onboard Activities

Small ship with less that 2000 passengers have things to do if you wanted but not to brag about.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Caught a couple of show and the dancers and singers did a great job
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The star of the ship. There is something to say about small ship service and this staff knocked it out of the park. My room attendant, Endi seemed to be in the hallway wasn’t to see if I needed anything and always asked if this were ok. The entire ship staff was always cleaning and straightening things out.
You do get kind of service on the larger ships
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Small ship with only one pool. Serenity deck was small but adequate. For someone that has been on almost the ship classes Carnival has to off and can appreciate each class, the Elation was quite.
Bonus points…. The elevators are large and quick. The most we had to wait for one is 10 seconds and never had a crowded one. The ship is small and so easy to get around without a lot of walking. After coming off t(e Mardi Gras is was a pleasure not waiting for a tiny elevator that seemed to take forever.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Adequate but small because it was set up to accommodate 4 passengers and the Murphy beds took up a lot of space. This was a last minute booking and it was one of the few balconies they had left so I am not complaining. Bath room was much larger the the newest Mardi Gras ship.
The ship is 23 years old and very well maintained!
Ship tip
Experience all the Carnival. Lass of ships, then return to this fantasy lass and enjoy it
