Review summary

I enjoyed the cruise ship. But the disembarkation was TERRIBLE!!! Waited over 1 1/2 hours when papers said carry off luggage would start by muster station at 8:00 am. Finally got off after 9:30!! 🥺🥺

Everyone on board very polite and accommodating. My Steward Eli for E193 was an awesomely accommodating young man. He answered any questions I had and provided great service for anything I ask for.

I did not chk my luggage because I was led to believe if I didn’t chk it I could leave ship BEFORE chgd bags. If I had k own that I had to Wit Along with the ppl that Chad theirs I WOULD HV MOST DEFINITELY CHKD MINE. I hv been on several cruises and never had to wait along with ppl That chkd their luggage. Very disappointed I had to lug 3 bags!!! Runette Linville Room E193 on Elation 803-847-9166

Problems with disembarkation are usually do to customs or the port. Enjoy the last minutes of the cruise

They cannot let anyone start debarking until Customs clears everything. Sometimes it takes a little longer than other times.

Did you have to hurry to catch a plane? If not then what's the rush to leave the cruise? It's funny how people can't wait to get on board but the same people rush to get off, even without a reason. I would much rather be sitting on deck than sitting in an airport or driving home.

Interesting. So everyone was grouped together, self assist and those who checked their luggage the night before? Don't let that mar the great cruise experience you enjoyed.

Appreciate your feedback. In “normal” times you probably would have been off earlier. I don’t think that the cruise lines have a good handle on all parts of embarkation and debarkation yet! Glad you enjoyed your cruise, if not the debarkation.
