We had an awesome vacation. So much fun. Carnival didn’t disappoint. Elation is an older/smaller ship but we had zero issues. Can’t wait to book another 🚢!

Embarkation

Quick. Easy. The only issue was they took my travel steamer. We have taken it on all our cruises with no problems. Not a big deal didn’t let it ruin the day.

Food and Dining

Guy’s Burgers was the best. Lido was good. My favorite is the Italian I wish they had it more than the 1st day. Main dining is so so we wouldn’t have gone as much as we did except for the desserts. Brunch is my favorite.

Onboard Activities

Enjoyed sitting out on deck relaxing. Trivia was fun.

We enjoyed the shows and music very much. 80’s night in the atrium was so much fun.

Service and Staff

Room stewards were excellent. Very nice and didn’t hesitate to give a smile or hello when they saw us. We had anytime dining and sometimes the waiters don’t build that special bond however this trip they did and I was very impressed.

This is an older ship but the crew kept it spotless. We were in an aft cabin and there was a mold/mildew smell.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very comfortable bed & pillows. We had plenty of space and closet room. This is an aft cabin and if you have an issue with motion this one is not for you.
