Review summary

Our 4th time on Carnival and we always love it. However, 2 things: for those that want to get high, please smoke it outside and not in your room! Secondly, to the trashy woman who literally pulled out both her breasts at dinner each night to feed your baby (and would just sit there with everything showing) yes it’s your right but for the love of Christ please put a shawl or something over you. My little boy should not have to look at your boobs and nipple while eating dinner. I think the Elation staff should have been more attentive to these 2 things but other than that it was amazing as always!!

Good for you momof3! Sounds like you’ve found a way to keep baby happy and on schedule while staying modest and discreet and the same time.

As a breastfeeding mom, I don’t cover up because my daughter always got hysterical like she was being suffocated even when putting her shirt on from an infant but with that being said you can always dress so that you can feed on demand, in public, & it’s never noticed. I feed her the same way at home at times depending on who’s around and it works just fine. I get feeling uncomfortable I was once the same way before my youngest.

Someone did mention feeding the baby before or after dinner and I'm more Republican than a Liberal but I'm glad to stick up for a mom that's been labeled as trash....way to go ladies....glad we can support each other!

I agree with tammyradencic!!! People like mslgrl2003 and all their liberal BS is why moms like that continue to do what they do! I'm all for breastfeeding but not at the dinner table in public, unless you are covered!

Shh813 first night she literally sat on the floor and did it (why???) then night 2 and 4 she fed from her chair right out in the open. The other nights I don’t know because we attended the Chef’s Table on night 3 and ate buffet on the last night.

Oh and I didn’t say anything at all about changing that baby’s schedule. All I said was she should have at least covered up a bit when in a public restaurant.

Whatever mslgr2003. Spin it however you want. And no one said anything at all about sexualizing breasts. Babies are also delivered via vaginas but it’s not okay to spread your legs and show THAT in public. So don’t push your liberal agenda on society. It’s my right as a mom to not have breasts out in a public restaurant. #getsomeclass

Forced to explain to your son how babies are fed? It would be nice for our society to stop sexualizing breast.....and I don't know about your kids, but my youngest NEVER stayed on a feeding schedule....or worse, change a baby's schedule for some strangers comfort. Yikes!

Funny thing Shh813 my son and I did move so we facing away from the boob monster. But then that left my husband staring directly at her (who swore he was trying NOT to look) haha:)

The problem is there are no more mommas to slap the hell outta these breastfeeding idiots. I nursed years ago & wouldnt dare not cover myself with a shawl/receiving blanket.

I definitely would have asked to be moved. I have no problem with breastfeeding in public but she could have done that before or after dinner and not with a table full of people eating.

That’s my point. Why should I be forced to explain this to my son because someone wants to push their “rights” on everyone else. But good to know it’s illegal to make someone cover up. I had no idea.

It's perfectly legal to breastfeed anywhere in public, and actually illegal to require someone to cover up. While I agree, it's probably not necessary to have both breast exposed at the same time (assuming there was only one baby) but this could have been a great opportunity to explain what was happening to your son. If you were that uncomfortable, I'm sure the staff would have found your family a new table.
