Review summary

We had FTTF and were on the boat by 10:45a.m. and went straight to our room. Dinner was good, but slow. Our waiter was just okay. We had the Cheers program and the bars were fantastic. Sushi was amazing! The shows were good and the comedy was hilarious! Our room was somewhat noisy, but my fault for not researching better. We were not impressed by Princess Cays and did not exit the boat in the Bahamas which was fabulous becasue the boat was baiscally empty. We love cruising and will definately go on Carnival again.

Embarkation

There is a very long ramp that you must climb to get to the boat. Be prepared to take a break if needed.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Some of our food was cold when we got served. The taste was good but I like my food hot when I eat it.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The pool is very small and there were a LOT of children in it splashing around.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
We had a fantastic waiter in the dining room during breakfast and brunch. His name was Alex and he went beyond what was expected. Our room stewart did an okay job and our evening waiter was okay as well. It seemed as if it took a while for us to get our food and we missed several shows becasue of this.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin, E151 oceanview, was right under the galley. It was nosiy a lot of the time and often woke us up during the night.

Ship tip

Get faster to the fun. It is so worth the money. Also, take a float with you for the island.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

3 out of 5
We did not like the sand that was along the shoreline. It had a lot of small pebbles mixed in with it. Make sure you wear shoes to the island and in the water if possible. Also, we had to wait in a very long line for lunch so either go early or late. Stash a float into your luggage to take with you on the island or you can pay $10,00 to rent one. Also, it is not worth renting the clamshell because there is plenty of shade along the shore.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It went very quickly. We were on our way home by 8 a.m.

Nice review. I've found it helps if you tell the waiters in the dining rooms that you are going to the show. They will try to get you served faster, but can't work miracles if you are seated 30 minutes before showtime.
