Review summary

This was my first cruise and solo but it almost didn't happen.  My cruise was set the depart at 4pm 27th  December  and I leave southwest Ohio at 5:00am the 26th for Miami and drove through a snow storm trying to decide if I wanted to take this cruise until I arrive the port at 10am the morning of and know I was hooked when I saw the ship.

Our first Port was Nassau and I went snorkeling in very cold water but the rum punch being served on the boat warmed me up.  Our next port was Half Moon Cay and the water there is beautiful and so is the white sand. I spent the entire on the island.

Our last port was Grand Turk island. Another beautiful beach and I took a tour of the island and everyone I met was very nice and made me feel welcomed to their island.

Our sea day was also New Years Eve day and I spent the day taking the Behind the Fun tour, lunch in the MDR, later tasting some of the treats the Chef sent to my cabin from the tour and watching the sea pass by the ship heading back to Miami.

The New Years Eve celebration was fun but I knew within 8 hours, all this happiness would be over and I would be driving home.

Destiny may be Sunshine but I will long remember my first cruise on Destiny.
