Review summary

We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, dining room was supposed to give us our recognition on Friday night at dinner, I guess they forgot.

Main terminal was closed in preparation for Jubilee’s arrival, so we boarded at terminal 2 - very fast and easy!

Main dining room - only went twice due to the dining experience. It’s a different kind of crowd on the 4 day cruises, fellow cruisers were loud and obnoxious, seemed like the MDR was more like being at a bar that served fast food, or at a Golden Corral with 2 high school football teams eating there - except these people were in their 30s and 40s.

MDR waiters seemed overwhelmed- not friendly or personable. All the other staff we contacted were nice. Heidi in casino was very nice, and room steward Kadek was good.

Cabin was clean, and Kadek was a good steward, barely ever saw him. Room AC was not working properly, stayed about 78 the whole time. Reported it but nothing was done about it.

Ship tip

Breeze is a good ship, not my favorite but the quality of the food and activities was good, pretty consistent with the other Carnival ships we’ve been on.

Easiest disembark I’ve seen - 4220 passengers and we were getting off at 8 AM!

And, ive had them ignore so many milestone occasions In the MDR on all three cruiselines that I've ever given up asking. On our 40th, after telling the hostess, we were seating at one the worst tables in the dining room and again received no acknowledgement.

I've seen that MDR behavior on 7 & 8 day cruises as well. They have clearly pushed the MDR experience to casual dining. No one is acting like they are dressed up for dinner at Grandma's house. It's all the casual Chili's and Applebees mentality.

Yes, we learned long ago, 7+ days for a cruise and avoid the 3 and 4 dayers.
