Review summary

Overall it was great for a short trip to Cozumel and back, but I wouldn't want to stay on this ship longer than 4 days.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was okay. Sea day brunch was very chaotic.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Very limited activities compared to previous itineraries. We spent a lot of time just hanging out in the room because there was nothing to do.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Pales in comparison to Royal Caribbean's entertainment, but the Breeze Rockband was very talented and fun to watch.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff went above and beyond to be courteous and helpful

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship is laid out very poorly and is difficult to navigate, especially if you have mobility issues.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Pros: Location is great - sandwiched between 2 cabin-only decks and quiet, easy access to dining room, buffet, & Lido deck amenities, large balcony accommodate 2 chairs + chaise lounge. Cons: Pungent smell of sewage every day, additional square footage is misleading and unusable because it is just a hallway, restroom location is odd and bumps into bed if you have them set up as singles.

Ship tip

Carnival ships are set up in such a way that there is no main thoroughfare to get from one side of the ship to another, meaning you often have to go up and over or down and over to get to the opposite end. It's not very accessible for someone with mobility issues.
