Embarkation

We had a 1-1:30 check in time. We arrived a little early so got sorted into the “long” line for early/late arrivals. We were on this ship within 45 minutes, so still very pleased with the process. We did have VeriFLY, so maybe that helped?

Staff here are a blast. We had a light lunch of soup and salad but then participated in their “show”. Was so much fun and great food.

Food here was good, not great. Staff were doing great until a table full of uniformed gentleman (officers?) showed up. Service was obviously directed to them, which I kind of understand, but it diminished our experience.

So nice we booked it twice! Highly recommend! The Dover sole and turf & surf were both fabulous. Service is 5 star. Get a watermelon martini and opt for the wine pairing!!

I did see lots of cleaning but I also saw areas that needed attention. This was the only time I questioned if there were staff shortages. Our room steward Amit did a GREAT job even though he was less visible than past stewards.

Close to everything! We enjoyed this location even though it’s a standard size room and balcony. Amit, our steward, was great!
