Reserved a non-shared table via the app. Was given 528 which is a shared table, had to request in person to be changed.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
I only give this 4 stars because the workers had confusion as to where we were supposed to stand in order to get into the building. They also asked everyone in line ‘how many were are in your party’, which caused a drastic slowdown once in the building. Everyone was available to check documents but there was 1 person guiding you to where she wants. That made no sense.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The dining room was typical. Nothing extravagant to speak about.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Carnival should create more activities besides the usual trivia and bingo.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
It was okay, the male lead singer was a lot better than other singers on the ships we’ve been on.
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
Our room steward was horrible. We are used to being asked when we would like our room cleaned. Our steward, Dewa, told us he only comes once a day during the day. Well we were in there a few times so he never cleaned.
Ship Quality

The Marketplace had machines that weren’t working properly i.e. juice machine and ice cream machine. When I approached someone about it, he told me to use another one, which also didn’t work. I informed him of that and he had to call 3 other people which ended in me having to walk to the seafood shack area to get lemonade.
Cabin / Stateroom

The TV was extremely small with no on-demand programming. The shower curtain (which I despise) was dingy and the shower head barely sprayed water.
Carnival has the WORST disembarkation process ever. We were self carrying our luggage and supposed to be off of the ship at 730a. We waited until almost 8a, when we got to the 3d floor, they were letting people off. There was no announcement to let us know.
Thanks for the review. The servicing the rooms only once per day started prior to Covid. It’s almost always better to let Carnival take care of your luggage the night before since most people now seem to use self debarkation and it’s much faster to let them do it and then you just walk off the ship when your section is called. A lot of things previously experienced on cruises are different after Covid.
