Review summary

We love the Carnival Breeze. Great cruise for our 38th anniversary. Really the only let down was the entertainment on this cruise. It was not like this in March or December, so I’m sure it is an anomaly. Seas were super calm and glassy the entire cruise. June cruises definitely have more children, so keep that in mind. The staff shortages were noticeable, but did not impact us directly. I would be excited to get on this ship again!

We basically walked right on the ship. Each embarkation since the restart has been great.

Food was great. MDR, Guy’s, Blue Iguana, 555 Steakhouse, Bonsai Sushi, and Seafood Shack were all great. No disappointments.

Atrium Bar

Rung and Rey were the best bartenders we had! Great cocktails.

MDR was awesome this trip. Food was hot and delicious.

Guy's Burger Joint

We had Guy’s twice. Both time they were great! I did a bbq burger on embarkation. Plain Jane I put grilled onions and brown sugar bbq sauce. Yum! Later in the week, I did the Straight Up with ketchup and mustard! Equally as good!

Entertainment

So disappointed with the entertainment on this cruise. All the playlist production shows were done on stools with no dancing or background video. This was Not due to high seas. Seas were perfectly calm. Breeze rock band was not good. We usually love sitting in Ocean Plaza listening to the bands, but this group was not up to par. Scott Lucile was the only bright spot here.

Amazing as always. Ida was our cabin steward. Probably the best we’ve had. Ship was kept super clean!

Ship was super clean despite unruly guests leaving discarded items in elevators, stairways and other venues.

Cabin / Stateroom

This is a great cabin. It is one of the L shaped balcony cabins in the rear of the ship. It has an extended balcony for the same price as a regular balcony cabin. It has two chairs, table and lounger.

Disembarkation

Fast and easy. Best debarkation since the restart!

I wonder if it's the same Breeze Rock Band that was on board in November. I'm guessing not because they were amazing! People were dragging in chairs from all over the ship just to hear them.
