Review summary

This was my birthday cruise that also included Fat Tuesday, so we had some serious celebrations! Our FB page had over 950 shipmates and that made this a great cruise for new and seasoned cruisers alike. Everyone shared tips and experiences. Not once did we experience any choppy or rough waters, this made for an amazing cruise!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, my steak was perfectly cooked and the grilled shrimp were on-point.

Cookie was the most awesome Cruise Director I've had to date, I will definitely be booking my cruises around which ship he is on!

I cannot praise the Carnival Breeze crew enough, they were all so attentive and professional. My room steward was always on top of everything and made the coolest towel animals for us.

The crew was constantly cleaning and sanitizing the ship. This made everyone feel safe and comfortable.

Cabin / Stateroom

As always, the balcony cabin is my go-to. I like the balcony for napping, reading, and just enjoying the view. The room was nicely-sized and never felt cramped. The couch served as the perfect staging area for my towel animals 🤣

Disembarkation

We had a death in the family the night before disembarking. The staff at Guest Services got us off of the ship quickly and were all so very cordial and wished us their condolences. Once off the ship, getting through the terminal was very smooth.

There is quite a bit to do in the port area itself. LOTS of shopping and the food at Lucha Libre was very tasty.
