Review summary

The cruise was normal until a medical emergency caused us not to be able to go to Cozumel. We were supposed to go to Progreso, but the winds were too high. I took this cruise for my 50th birthday. It was my husband’s first cruise. It did not have as many varied activities and shows at night as other cruises.

MDR was amazing! Guy’s Burgers amazing. Buffets were horrible.

Stage shows were ok. I’ve seen much better on cruises. Lots of things were happening at the same time. We couldn’t see everything.

The cabin was large with a nice closet area that had a full length mirror and closets on each side. The bathroom was nice with two sinks. The jacuzzi tub was tiny. There was no way to enjoy it. And, when I tried to use it, the jets would come on for two seconds and go off. I would have to lean to the other side and press the button again. They didn’t always work when the button was pressed.

Ship tip

Check the prices for food at Red Frog and the Seafood Shack. They seemed very reasonable and the food was good. Also, it was a nice treat that wasn’t a burger.
