Review summary

We checked in at our designated time and right from the start the man helping us was already short and snappy. No smiles or hello greeting. Just want to get it over with. Was told our room was ready..........well....no it was not. Call stateroom steward and was told it will be ready at 5:30pm as the ship departure was delayed. We didn't sail after 6pm. So we decide to unpack after the room was ready. Came back after 5:30pm and room still not ready. Call steward again and this time he is snappy too. No apologies. Just more excuses. Talked down to my wife so i had to take over and be firm with him. Was told it will be ready by 6:30pm. Well......the first night, the shower and sink was clogged. They got it fixed first thing in the morning. Then the hairdryer and tv remote went out.

Oh.....do not waste your time with the spa. They will give you the run around and bully you to spend $$$$ and if you are smart and firm, they will hate you cos they know they cannot milked any $$$$ out of you. They are a bunch of leeches working there.

I have never gambled on a cruise. Maybe I should try it this time. I would never turn down free drinks, steakhouse dinner plus! Sounds pretty good to me. Of course, you probably have to spend a lot of money???

@heatherdia now I know that is a lie because the Casino Host (Maria) is amazing and I was constantly hounded by the casino servers to get my "free" casino drinks and I was up 3k in the first 24hrs of sailing. The casino sent me bottles of wine, Steakhouse dinner, Italian dinner, and cookies. But one thing I remember is I didn't have a shitty entitled attitude either.

Maybe you and heatherdia started with a bad attitude. Some patience is required. The ship has to disembark in the morning, do a super quick but efficient clean then load its next cruisers. As for the sales efforts. Who doesn't do that? Heck even McDonalds tries to upsell. And have you ever went to an appliance store or car dealership? Give a little courtesy and it will be returned

Oh and by the way we bought the cheers package and we could hardly ever get a drink by the servers, we have to go to the bar each time -there were two different servers in the casino area that would turn their heads and walk away and we even tipped them so not sure what that was all about So if you want a drink and not wait 30 minutes you have to go to the bar and wait but at least not 30 minutes

I agree 100% all the servers were very rude ,people in the casino we're very hateful because we kept winning money they did not like that I'm sure everyone on the cruise ship did not like us either but who really cares we're never going on another cruise ever again! it was our first time and definitely our last time Carnival will be getting a letter or phone call 1st thing in the morning

I just sailed on the breeze October 2nd. Had a wonderful time and the staff was excellent . So nice and respectful . Going again next year on the breeze. This next one will be my 4th time cruising

I never once had this experience on the Breeze. No one was short and snappy and never had to get firm with anyone. The way you describe your experience, sounds like nothing makes you happy.

5 carnival cruises twice on the Breeze. Loved everything about all of them. I did however have a similar experience in the spa (Sunshine) lovely facial but was really pressured. Questions included "why do you not want your skin to be etc." Really didn't appreciate it and ended up cancelling my next appointment because of this

I have been on 15 carnival cruises. 10 different ships. Breeze twice it's my favourite Carnival ship.

Sailed on multiple Carnival Ships with no problems. We are due to sail on the Breeze in January and am sure it will be just as fantastic as the rest!

I've not sailed Carnival yet, but we are going on the Breeze in December and I'm not worried at all by this review. Everyone makes or breaks their own experience. This experience on the first day apparently ruined the cruise for these people and that's too bad. No one/thing is perfect, but you have to allow yourself to not let it destroy your entire vacation.
