The ship is laid out well, large and spacious, yet easy to navigate. The decor is lovely and the stateroom did not feel cramped.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
overall the food was good and high quality. On a couple of nights a high quality cut of meat was paired with a less expensive cut to give the impression of a larger meal.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Two excellent shows\, two fair ones and these were repeated throughout the cruise. Of the four comedians\, one was good\, one fair\, and two were just not funny. Too many repeat shows on a cruise of this length.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
There were a large number of unattended children on this cruise who did not have the sense that they were sharing the boat with other travelers. They put hot sauce in the ice cream machines\, rode the elevators for fun\, and were often disrespectful. I'm not blaming the children - I think the parents needed to be more involved. Also\, these were kids from all over the world\, not just the US and Europe. The ship staff was always polite with these children even when they had reason not to be. Not a reason not to go on this ship\, but to be aware of the timing of your vacation.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great staff\, interesting to converse with. Unfailingly polite.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Comfortable and clean. If the shower gel doesn't come out quickly enough ask your steward to clean the opening and then it work just fine.

Pros: the ease of traveling

Cons: Marseille port of call
