Review summary

It was gorgeous!!!! The rooms were spacious - perfect for a family of 4. Our kids loved the bunk beds and enjoyed the oceanview. The Ovation Theatre was great, as were all entertainment venues on the ship. It was absolutely beautiful. A great 1st cruise experience! The only con regarding the ship is that the Beach Pool was rather small for 4000+ travelers. On sea days, it was very difficult to get a chair by the pool and swimming was more than cramped. I realize there was a Tides Pool as well, but both were small and extremely crowded.

Food was plentiful\, quality was ok. We would have loved a view of the sea from our dining table\, but were one of the few tables by a wall.

Entertainment

The shows were great\, however we found it difficult with kids ages 4 & 6. Only one night was a family movie night at the Dive In movies. And the Deck Party didn't start until 10:45\, which is past our kids bedtimes. But it looked like we missed a really fun party. Wish it would have started a bit earlier.

Camp Carnival was great! The kids really enjoyed their time there\, but please see previous comment regarding the evening activities or lack thereof with young children.
