This was a celebration for the wife's milestone birthday and she did enjoy herself! We prefer the smaller cruising experiences (no-mega-ships!) and Azamara was perfect for the timing and destinations we were interested in for a quick getaway. Would definitely try another Azamara cruise to experience other venues not so focused around just a single event (Grand Prix races in Monaco).
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Embarkation was very fast and easy once we got to the ship. The port in Nice, France has two docks and the Azamara website listed the wrong one so we were dropped off at the wrong terminal, in front of the Club Med 2 ship. Fortunately, there is a free port shuttle that was able to drive us around to the other other side of the port where the Quest was docked. We thought there was supposed to be a special entry for Suite guests but there was only one boarding area that offered just ice tea and cold water. Check in was very fast and easy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food was good but when there was a theme night in the restaurants there weren't many other choices if you didn't want to participate.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Onboard activities were limited and the pool/hot tubs closed at 8pm (sooner for the White Party)?!?
Entertainment

Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Room Stewards and Butlers were excellent! Restuarant service was very good. With the very few people sailing on this cuise, the attendants in the lounges and pool could have more attentive and visible to refresh drink orders.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Older ship with a very easy to follow design layout. Had no trouble finding the various restaurants and venues.
Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip
Would sail on the Quest again, but under different conditions/destination.
Fortunately, we scheduled outside tours of our own in Nice as the tour with airport transfer offered through the ship was cancelled due to low participation.
Took an excursion to Cince Terre which is quite a distance from the city (45-60 minutes away). Tour guide was difficult to understand as "whispers" were used and it sounded like she was directly screaming into the microphone so all we heard was scratching and popping in the headsets (even at volume level 1).
Was in port during the Grand Prix so the entire town was shut down during the day. All tours of the city were all cancelled except for the $1000pp Grand Prix viewing tickets.
