Review summary

I look forward to another Azamara cruise. From the captain to the cruise director to the wait staff and cabin crew, everyone made us so comfortable; and since this was an Asian cruise, they made it very easy with money exchanges, explaining local customs, and assisting with everything and anything. Even if you just wanted to explore a port on your own, there was someone there to give you travel advice, often a local resident. There were hand rub stations everywhere with an attendant to make sure that hygienic conditions were maximized for everyone.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food in the restaurants as well as the buffets was delicious, two specialty restaurants had really nice menus and excellent service

Entertainment

5 out of 5
the cruise director was also an entertainer, and her show was the best of all of them, she had everyone in the audience singing and laughing. we really enjoyed the trio in the lounge and although there were not the extravaganza-like shows you see on the larger ships, it was all very nice.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
We loved the friendliness and comraderie we developed among the passengers, but children would not really have many activities.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
our cabin steward stored our empty luggage and removed some of the furnishings that we didn't need so that we could have more space, and was always accessible for our needs

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It was easy to get around, never a wait for the elevator or dining, public areas were clean never crowded, and since the overall size of the ship is smaller with 650 passengers, it was able to get into smaller areas, we never had to tender to shore - amazing!

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
great amenities, I was the third person in the cabin and the bed was a pullout sofa which really made the cabin small; I would recommend only two per cabin

Pros: the size of the ship- 650 passengers, made friends and it was easy to get around
