Review summary

Our reason for choosing the Azamara Journey cruise was ease of access to Middle East countries: Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and the UAE were our destinations. We learned a lot about the customs and traditions of the area. Since ,most days were spent in port, it was unlike a traditional cruise with lots of onboard activities.

We have been on 4 former different Rennaisance ships. This cabin was smaller than any due to its far front location. No room to comfortably sit.

Ship tip

Be sure to know your ports as the biggest shortcoming of this cruise was lack of knowledge even to the point of first ever incorrect booking by the land tour staff.
