Review summary

We’ve been on many ACL cruises; and, as usual, this one lived up to expectations: A beautiful ship; great food and libations; knowledgeable speaker; multiple fun excursions, creative and useful arts & crafts projects; and entertaining nightly shows. What has always been the outstanding feature of ACL's cruises, however, has been their people. They are incredibly friendly and so very helpful to mobility challenged passengers.

Ship was beautiful, and we especially appreciated the Sky Lounge on the 4th floor for its early risers breakfasts. Loved them! The cocktail bar's hours were great.

Service and Staff

We've observed on all of our ACL cruises the friendliness of the staff. And, most importantly, their handling and care of the mobility challenged is unparalleled.

Monica, our housekeeper, stayed on top of us!

Ports of call

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

5 out of 5
Being a Pittsburgh native, I feel ACL may want to include a city tour as part of their package as there are so many great attractions very near the ship.

RIVER CRUISING

Cruise days were relaxing.

Cincinnati, Ohio

City excursion was very thorough.

Louisville, Kentucky

Stitzel-Weller Distillery had plenty of bourbon for tastings!

Paducah, Kentucky

National Quilt Museum was unbelievable! A must-see for all, not just the quilters or seamstresses in our midst.

St. Louis, Missouri

Highlight of the city tour was the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis. Absolutely stunning! We've seen cathedrals in Europe, but nothing compares to this. Worth a trip to St. Louis!

Disembarkation

There are two terminals in St. Louis; however, several passengers were dropped off at Terminal 1 and had to fend from there. Chance for improvement here.
