Another great cruise on ACL - first time on a paddlewheel. We really enjoyed the Ohio River - one of the prettiest we've been on. Lots of lochs for those who enjoy watching those operations. Each town had something of interest to see, and learning more about the southern / midwestern culture and history was so enlightening to this westerner.

Chef was accessible and very talented. We especially loved the light offerings in the Sky Lounge for a quick breakfast and lunch.

Several local bands came on board - our favorite was the Jug band in Kentucky. The guest speaker was not only informative but very funny - quite a comedienne.

The paddlewheel ship was definitely a looker - we always received a wave from those on shore as we went by. There were plenty of lounges on this ship so it never felt crowded.
Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the size of the cabin, and there was plenty of drawer and closet space. Balcony was lovely at sunset.
