We have done several European river cruises. This is much different and better. ACL continues to improve their service, and I believe with the new ships and itineraries will get even better.

Very good from the airport pick-up, pre-embarkation hotel and boarding. Everything was handled to minimize guest inconvenience.

We have traveled on four ACL ships; the food is always good but this food was Great!! Hats off to Chef Q. This applies to the early riser breakfast on the rear deck and the snacks available throughout the ship.

This was a Lewis and Clark themed cruise: The lecturer Got us from St. Louis and back in 4 days.
The Art Instructor helped us create a cruise diary (optional) based on our Lewis and Clark stops. I learned a lot about watercolor techniques.

There weren't any children on this cruise.
Service and Staff

This begins with management which is very hands on, ready to help in any way from moving luggage to bussing dishes; and is duplicated by the young and eager crew. The bartender Jason, housekeeping manager Keysha, and everyone of the servers deserve special thanks.
Ship Quality

This is one of ACL's newer ships and is very well designed and appointed, a lot of community space.
With the bow that opens up it will fit into almost any stop on the river system.
Cabin / Stateroom

Big by big ship standards, enormous by small ship standards. Lots of storage space, good WiFi, nice small balcony. Comfortable and clean.
Ship tip
If you are a reader, bring your own book and then donate it to the ship's library as it is basically a lender library.
