I had the opportunity to sail up and back on the Harmony from Portland to Clarkston and back. It was a marvelous journey and one I hope to do again. I'd especially like to see the Maryhill museum on my neck adventure.
Embarkation

Easy and efficient, the staff and medical officer were quick to test you and read of your recent covid test. Bags were brought to your room immediately upon arrival, so you could start unpacking and begin having fun.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
"Chef Q" was amazing, his meal plans were well thought out and given ACL's policy of 1/2 proportions easy to order and calorie conscious. The Harmony has a main dining room on the first deck and a cafe on the 4th deck, with snack areas also available. My palate was happy!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The enrichment series offered were one hour classes of watercolors and arts/crafts daily along with lectures on Lewis and Clark. We had 2 guest lecturers and both made the trip more interesting. Often you could hear at dinner someone saying how much fun they were having because of the lectures or classes.
Entertainment

Fun and entertaining, usually drawn from the port stops.
Children's Programs
No children on board
Service and Staff

Our wait staff was fun, energetic, and had a great time interacting with the passengers. Each waiter had two or three tables of 4, 6 or 8 people and they were very busy keeping the food moving from kitchen to table fairly seamlessly.
Ship Quality

The lay out of the ship was easy to get around, with an elevator for those who prefer and a wide stair case for those who wanted to maintain their 10,000 steps per day. The one hour art classes were offered daily on 4th deck aft and no evidence of the class was left after completion of the projects. The lectures were also on the 4th deck forward and included projectors and PowerPoint programs and chairs for many guests .
Cabin / Stateroom

My room was on the first deck and lovely right on the water line, down the hall from the dining room. It was lovely to have a large shower which I could step into and turn without bumping into walls!
Ship tip
Oregon is unpredictable with weather, bring warmer clothes our temps ranged from 30 to 80's.
Hearing and watching the video on the ACL bus as we drove up to the park was so enlightening. I had forgotten about the devastation of the volcano and seeing the remnants 42 years later still is amazing. Very little has grown back in all these years.
Put my luggage out the night before, after breakfast walked up the gangway and claimed my luggage for a taxi ride to the airport. I left earlier than the provided bus returning to the airport at 8:30.
