Review summary

Overall - one of the more expensive cruises we have taken - and frankly - one of the poorest value for the dollar. We have been on 20+ cruises. Not a fan of the cruise line - poor service and food selection. Will not be a return patron.

Limited dining selections. Poor food quality - for example - croutons on salads always soggy (I think they pre-make salads and put in refrigerator). Really disappointed. Have been on over 20 cruises.

Limited on ship activities - but to be expected for a river boat cruise.

Very dated. Catered to very old crowd.

No children on boat.

Service and Staff

Room steward was great. Food service was very poor. For example, only 1 time in a week did a waiter refill coffee without me asking for more coffee. Staff didn't remember names of passengers - nor did they try. Very different experience from the other 20+ cruises we have been on.
