Review summary

We spent considerable time on a bus (6 hrs) transferring from Strasbourg to Antwep with a stop in Luxembourg on the way. We also were scheduled to sail Mon night to Breisach our first night, but didn't leave until Tuesday morn. Between the transfer and delayed departure from Basel we lost excursion time that was originally scheduled. Did enjoy seeing places we hadn't been before, but would have rather continued to Cologne area. We can cross river cruise off our bucket list, if we did another we may try another company based on discussion s with folks on board who've cruised with others and could compare.

Not much to do on board a river cruise ship, excursions make or break a cruise.

Last night classical concert on board was excellent, more of these types of on board entertainment would be welcome.

Overall good, some servers are more attentive than others. We had the opportunity to compare the AmaStella to the AmaKristina, overall we thought the AmaStella crew did a netterjob.
